Brian Brown

One of the area’s foremost experts, Brian Brown has taken the lead on this exceptional vineyard and planted over 30 acres of vines. He is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in viticulture and enology. With experience in the Napa Valley, Mr. Brown has devoted his energies to solve blending problems for some of Napa’s finest vineyards. A self-described “California blender”, he mixes both Bordeaux and Rhones to create the ideal for richer and more exquisite tastes.

Ben Epstein

Our vineyard manager Ben Epstein is an innovative viticulturist who works closely with winemaker Brian Brown to deliver the best grapes for ONX wines. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University in nearby San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness. An active member of the Central Coast Vineyard Team (CCVT), Ben is committed to growing the highest quality grapes and is now being driven further by guiding the estate vineyard through its Sustainability in Practice (SIP) certification.
